Accreditation

All campuses of the CSU are accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission. In addition, many programs have specialized accreditation that assures our students and the public that they meet the highest standards.

• ​ ABET: ABET is a nonprofit, non-governmental agency that accredits programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering and engineering technology. 
  
• CHEA: The Council for Higher Education Accreditation is a national advocate and institutional voice for self-regulation of academic quality through accreditation.
  
• WSCUC: The WASC Senior College and University Commission is a regional accrediting agency. Through its work of peer review, based on standards agreed to by the membership, the commission encourages continuous institutional improvement.
