Jeanne Fratello is the Interim Senior Director of Integrated Internal Communications, where she coordinates communications and stories to be shared with CSU audiences. She is a long-time veteran of the CSU, having served as the speechwriter to two chancellors from 1998 until 2014. Between 2014 and 2022, she served as executive editor of a local news site before returning to the Chancellor's Office in 2023.

Prior to joining the CSU, she worked as a reporter in Washington D.C. covering congressional policy and later national education policy, with a focus on teacher preparation, college admissions, and the high school to college transition.
