Orphaned Reports in The Common Library

Recently, we implemented a new policy for the CIRS common library that requires all report requests in the common library to have a owner comment line with the text, 'OWNER USERID:' followed by a space and a userid. For more information, refer to the topic:  Common Library Procedures.  

 

At the beginning of each month, we will perform a search of the common library to identify reports without a owner's userid and reports whose owner is no longer a current CIRS user.  ​

  • Any report without an owner's statement will be deleted, even if the report is listed in the AAINDEX.  
  • ​Any report belonging to a deleted CIRS user, will be copied to the library of the campus Security Coordinator and then deleted from the common library.
