This code identifies an employee's status and is used to determine eligibility for salary increases, specified code deductions, leave accrual, insurance and other benefits. If the pay scales designation is M, S, C or E, Item 126 must be M, S, C or E.

126-05  EE CBID MUST EQUAL THE PAYSCALES CB ID (R01-C09).

If the pay scales designation is an R, Item 126 must be ’R’ or ’C’ or ’98’.
