Born and raised in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, Jonathan Molina Mancio is the son of Guatemalan immigrants. As an Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) student at California State University, Dominguez Hills, he has taken on various leadership roles including peer mentor, and cofounded the EOP Student Association.
Molina Mancio has been actively involved in student government, holding positions including representative of the College of Business Administration and Public Policy, vice president of Academic Affairs and president of Associated Students Inc at CSU Dominguez Hills. He also served as vice president of Finance for the Cal State Student Association.
Molina Mancio graduated from CSUDH with a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a focus on finance and is now pursuing a master of science degree in higher education at California State University, Fullerton.
Outside of academics and his leadership roles, Molina Mancio enjoys playing soccer and exploring diverse cuisines.
