Description:

Description: Following the Design Development, the construction document phase focuses on providing information in the form of final drawings and specifications that enables permitting by authorities having jurisdiction, as well as bidding and construction of the project by a qualified builder. The project may proceed into the Bidding & Negotiation and Construction Contract Administration phases with the Trustee’s approval of the Contract Documents.

Information presented in various deliverables need to be organized and easily followed. Refer to Exhibit D, California State University Procedure Manual for Capital Projects, for the minimum requirements for Construction Documents.

95 % Construction Documents

Description:

Description: The 95% Construction Documents are the final coordinated set of documents without the regulatory agencies approvals. The 95% designation is solely to acknowledge that the documents have not received the agency approvals. All documents should have been thoroughly checked, coordinated, and revised. It is recommended that 95% CD designation not be incorporated into the sheet title as it is confusing to the reviewing entities.

Description: The 100% Construction Documents are the final coordinated set of documents with the regulatory agencies approvals.
