Dr. Skuban is an accidental historian. His bachelor’s degree in Business Administration led to positions with two large and respected corporations for 10 years. Afterwards, he chose to follow a different path, returning to academia to pursue the subject he always loved the most: history. He benefited immensely from the encouragement of professors, and his graduate mentor at UC Davis provided him the confidence and support to finish his doctorate. He vowed to do the same for his students.
