Dia S. Poole retired from the State of California and County of San Bernardino after serving nearly 34 years in the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government. Prior to her retirement, she served as a legislative advocate in the Judicial Council of California’s Sacramento Office of Governmental Affairs. Dia has a passion for community service exemplified by her dedication to the CSU Alumni Council where she has served as the CSU San Bernardino alumni volunteer and two terms as president. During her presidency, she focused on identifying alumni legacy families and recognizing alumni contributions of time and service to their alma mater and the CSU system.
Previously, Dia held the position of vice president of governmental relations, serving as the Council’s liaison to the Office of Advocacy and State Relations on CSU Alumni Legislative Day programming and Legislator of the Year selections. She has also served as secretary and as a member of the finance committee. Dia has been a long-time member of the CSU San Bernardino Alumni Association, and in 2008, was named CSUSB’s Alumni Advocate of the Year.
