Dr. Otomo-Corgel is past president of the American Academy of Periodontology, the California Society of Periodontists, the Western Society of Periodontists and the National VA Periodontists.
She served on the Fresno State Alumni Association's Board of Directors and currently serves on the Fresno State Foundation Board of Governors. Named an Outstanding Top Dog Alumna by the Fresno State Alumni Association on behalf of the College of Science and Mathematics, Otomo-Corgel also serves on the Advisory Council for the College of Science and Mathematics.
She is a Trustee Emerita of the California State University.
Otomo-Corgel is a fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists and is a gubernatorial appointee to the School-to-Career Advisory Council.
