Revolutionized the sport of beach volleyball.
Won three back-to-back Olympic gold medals (2004, 2008, 2012) in beach volleyball with partner Kerri Walsh-Jennings.
At CSULB, served as the captain of the 1998 NCAA Championship team that was the first NCAA women’s volleyball team to be undefeated.
