Joined the Los Angeles Philharmonic as co-principal percussionist/timpanist in the 1983-84 season.
Performed under conductors such as Carlo-Maria Giulini, André Previn, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Leonard Bernstein, Pierre Boulez, Simon Rattle and Zubin Mehta.
Has made numerous recordings with the Philharmonic and for motion picture soundtracks. Film credits include

Participates in the LA Philharmonic’s Green Umbrella and Chamber Music series.
