A third-generation farmer in Kern and Imperial Counties, he started Dan Andrews Farms, LLC, a fruit and vegetable growing and shipping company.
Dan Andrews Farms ships 1,000,000 cartons of fresh produce annually with half the production distributed within California.
Employs 15 full-time employees and hundreds of seasonal workers.
Named Most Valuable Player on the 1990 Cal Poly Pomona baseball team and played two seasons for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Instrumental in helping to launch a new $7 million state-of-the-art baseball facility improvement project at Cal Poly Pomona.
Served as a page in the opening and closing ceremonies of the XXIII Olympiad for the 1984 summer games held in Los Angeles.
