From a young age, Nevi Keser Gruskin moved around a lot. As she used her natural talent to make her family’s homes warm and beautiful, it sparked a passion for interior design, even before she knew it could be a career path.

Nevi is now an interior design major at Cal State Long Beach and works as a junior designer for an architecture and design firm. She represented the university in the 2021 Steelcase NEXT Student Design Competition and placed among the top five semifinalists.

​Nevi’s goal is to have her own interior architecture firm specializing in hospitality design.
