Ome Garcia is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in chemistry at San José State. In addition to Ome’s commitments to neurological research, crisis intervention and medical transcription, they serve as the pre-med psychology treasurer and as a member of the Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science.
