The individuals who completed the Intervention Specialist Certification program have exhibited exceptional commitment to the education equity needs of students in California. They’ve demonstrated their ability to assess needs, use data to recommend strategies, and understand the intervention structure from a macro, meso and micro perspective. Our cohort members have also increased their capacity to develop a collaborative intervention team, plans and programs to create a change in student outcomes systemically. These accomplishments are a testament to the knowledge and hard work of our graduates. We are immensely proud of their achievements and are confident that they will continue to excel in their varied areas of our educational systems. Our graduates include teachers, principals, district administrators, counselors, university outreach directors, coaches and interventionists. All, who now have a new lens of what intervention REALLY is and the ability to think differently about the continuum of academic, behavior, and social-emotional supports, that students require as they move through their K-16 educational journey. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all our Intervention Specialists.
