AI for Social Good

Artificial intelligence in education has primarily been about academic integrity. A project on three CSU campuses focuses instead on how AI could be used to address social issues.

Through the AI for Social Good (AI4SG) project, students explore the pros and cons of using artificial intelligence to be socially responsive innovators. Students from all disciplines and backgrounds, not just STEM majors, are encouraged to participate and propose or develop an AI-powered solution to an issue they recognize in their communities.
