It is the CSU’s policy to provide equal opportunity for every person regardless of the person’s protected status. Protected statuses include age, disability, gender, genetic information, gender identity or expression, nationality, marital status, race or ethnicity (including color, caste or ancestry), religion, sexual orientation, and veteran or military status.
CSU Systemwide policy prohibits discrimination, harassment and retaliation, sexual misconduct, sexual exploitation, dating and domestic violence, and stalking against students, employees, and third parties. The policy also includes the procedures for addressing complaints made against
students and complaints made against employees and third parties.
