The California State University will host five free “College Nights”—college fairs—throughout the state September 16-30 for high school and community college students, returning students and adult learners to learn about its 23 universities and how to prepare for college. Parents, guardians, family members and educators are also encouraged to attend and support their students on their path to higher education.
Event details and registration can be found on the "College Nights" website. Registrants will receive confirmation via email and a text message reminder with a QR code to make checking in easy.
Attendees will:
- Meet and connect with representatives from the 23 universities.
- Learn how to best prepare for CSU freshman and transfer admissions.
- Receive tips on completing a Cal State Apply application.
- Discover available resources to help pay for college.
- Be eligible for giveaways and CSU swag.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with representatives from various student support services including the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), the Early Assessment Program, financial aid offices and the California College Guidance Initiative.
Prospective students can also learn about systemwide programs like CSU Summer Arts, Educator and Leadership Programs, the Hospitality & Tourism Alliance and Esports Cal State.
“College Nights” are held in every region of the state, and most locations rotate each year to ensure CSU outreach staff reach all potential students in California.
