As part of CSU’s commitment to promoting a safe learning, living, and working environment through its educational programming and systemwide policies and procedures, and to ensure compliance with the CSU Nondiscrimination Policy, the Chancellor’s Office conducts ongoing reviews of the civil rights programs at each university.
Civil rights program reviews highlight the strengths, achievements and positive strides of the university’s civil rights programs and services. These reviews provide an opportunity for the Chancellor’s Office to recognize, adopt and implement best practices systemwide. And the reviews also help the Chancellor’s Office identify areas where the universities may benefit from additional guidance or support.
Upon completion of the review process, the Chancellor’s Office creates a comprehensive summary report. These summary reports include information about the review methods utilized, as well as key observations and findings relating to a defined set of criteria, best practices, and areas of continued growth.
