Kimberley Goode is chief communications and social impact officer at BMO Financial which serves more than 12 million customers with personal and commercial banking, wealth management, and investment services. BMO is the 8th largest bank, by assets, in North America.
Kimberley is a senior integrated communications leader with experience in large global companies across multiple industries, including healthcare, financial services, consumer packaged goods, travel, and technology. A powerful storyteller, she drives business results through public relations, social media, reputation management, brand building, corporate social responsibility, diversity and inclusion, and employee communication.
Goode previously served Blue Shield of California as senior vice presidet of external affairs. Prior to her time at Blue Shield of California, Goode served Northwestern Mutual as vice president of Communications and Corporate Affairs and executive officer, developing and driving internal and external communications strategy. She also served as president for the Northwestern Mutual Foundation, the largest corporate foundation in Wisconsin. Preceding that, she held vice president roles in corporate, worldwide, and global communications with Visteon Corporation, Kellogg Company, and Prudential Financial, leading internal and external communications strategy, policies, and initiatives to preserve and enhance corporate reputations.
She is actively engaged with the Executive Leadership Council, the Bay Area Council, Children Now Leadership Council, and California Women Lead Advisory Council. Goode is a former board of trustees member of the Milwaukee Urban League, Author W. Page Society, Action for Healthy Kids, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee, and Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
Goode earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Northwestern University, where she was active with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and led the university's Blacks in Communication student organization. She has earned numerous awards, including 2019 San Francisco Business Times' Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business, Ebony Magazine's Outstanding Women in Marketing and Communications, and Savoy magazine's Most Influential Women in Corporate America.
