Kristin Crellin is chair of the CSU Foundation Board of Governors and is senior vice president of community and membership development for SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, the largest credit union in the nation to serve school employees and their families exclusively. She is the key spokesperson within the educational community and is responsible for managing SchoolsFirst FCU’s community relations programs. This includes working closely with County office of Education in Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino and Sacramento. Kristin is also the president of the Education Foundation for California Schools, offering grants to teachers throughout California. She works with school districts and schools to coordinate principal-for-a-day and Read Across America events, in addition to job shadow and mentoring programs for students in Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside and Los Angeles counties.
A graduate of California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), Ms. Crellin serves on the CSUF President's Roundtable, Blue Ribbon Committee, and CSUF College of Education's Leadership Council. Kristin also serves as a board of director on the Cal Poly Pomona Philanthropic Foundation Board, as well as the UC Riverside Foundation. She works with the CSU Chancellor's Office and is a past president of the CSU Alumni Council, a statewide council with alumni representatives from each of the 23 California State Universities. Ms. Crellin is also a graduate of Western CUNA Management School and is recognized as a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE).
