Sample Report Requests

The CIRS common library has report requests written by HR-ISA as well as other CIRS users. Below is a list of sample report requests in the common library for the major files in CIRS. Most report requests contain record limits so a data sample can be previewed. If you find something useful in the common library, copy the report request into your own library and remove the limits. Additional sample reports are also available on the CIRS web site at www.calstate.edu/hrpims. Note: The terms FOCEXEC, Program, and Member are all used to describe FOCUS executable commands that are stored in either the common library or your personal library.

Active Current Status	FOC1400B	Computes base pay statistics for active positions. The join between the Active Current Status file and the Pay Scales file (JACPS1) is used for retrieving class title.
Annual Current Status	FOC1100	Position Count By Job Family, Ethnic Group and Gender.
A54 Transaction	A54STUDY	Generates a statistical report of A54 transactions.
Campus Header	HEADER	Payroll Header Report for Fiscal Year Ending June 97.

Employee History Information (Leave Data)	FOC1073	Employment History Transaction Information.
Employee Specific Information (Leave Data)	FOC1071	Establishment, Wait Periods and Non-standard Accrual Rates.
Job Code	FOC1500 FOC1510 FOC1520	List Of Job Codes By Codes And Family. List Of MPP Employees And Job Titles, By SSA. Position Count By Job Code Using Systemwide Job Titles.
Leave Balance Information	FOC1070	State Service and Leave Balances by Leave Benefit.
Leave Transaction Information	FOC1074 FOC1075	Leave Transaction Information. Family Leave Use.
Leave Accounting Summary	FOC1095 FOC1096 FOC1097	Leave Summary File Report. Leave Balances For Active Employees (Intermittents Excluded). Employee Leave Accrual And Usage By Type For the Last 6 Pay Periods.
Payment History Data	FOC1060 FOC1090	Total Gross Pay and Deduction Amounts By Pay Period. CSUEU Dental Plan Enrollments.
Payment History Extract	PAYSUMRY	Payment History Summary.
Payment History Summary	FOC1098	Generates a detail report of payments issued to employees in the last 5 years.
Separated Current Status	FOC1040	Counts separated MPP employees by reason for resignation. A match between the SP and AC file is used to identify only those employees who are permanently separated.
State Service Balance and Transactions	FOC1072	State Service Transaction Information.
Student Assistant	FOC1080B	Address data for students paid in the prior business month. It uses a match between the ST file, which contains address information, and the PH file, which contains students paid in the prior business month.
Transaction Data	HIREDATE	Identifies employee's original hire date into their current classification.
Unemployment Insursance Costs	UI9293	Prints the unemployment insurance costs for the 1992/93 fiscal year.

Pay Scales	FOC1010	List of variable rate classes.
Systemwide Active Current Status	FOC1400C	Base pay statistics for active positions, by campus. The join between the Systemwide Active Current Status file and the Pay Scales file (JSACPS1) is used for retrieving class title.
Systemwide Annual Current Status	FOC1030A FOC1030B FOC1030C	Series of report requests to combine two years of annual data (2000 and 1995) into a single report. The resulting report can be downloaded and brought into a spreadsheet package such as EXCEL.
Systemwide Transaction Data	FOC1000	Counts the number of systemwide appointment transactions that have been posted since 1976.
