Position number on void or eliminate action to cancel transaction previously added to the PIMS database matches the current position number on different position sequence. Note: ’Eliminate’ actions are used exclusively by the SCO.

To resolve either of the above audit messages, do the following:

Verify the action being taken is appropriate and for the correct position sequence.

If the action is valid, verify the transaction’s position number with the employee’s position on the PSN inquiry screen.

If a match is found, a change must be made to the position number on the transaction or the matching position sequence.
