The action bar is the first line of the ad hoc reporting screen and the compendium library and provides navigation to other functions and options in CIRS. If you use your keyboard arrow keys to navigate to action bar items, you can improve the navigation by setting your home/tab key so that it 'jumps' to the action bar.
To set your home/tab key, select OTHER from the action bar and press enter.

At the ISPF Settings menu, type Y at the prompt and press F3 to exit and save your selection.

After your setting is saved, you can press the HOME key and the cursor will jump to the first item on the action bar. To navigate to the other items on the action bar, press the TAB key.
Note: If you do not have a key labeled 'home' on your keyboard, refer to your keyboard's mapping to identify the key(s) programmed for that function.
