File Transfer Settings

The file transfer settings below should be used for downloading data from CIRS to your PC. These are only general recommendations. Refer to your specific file transfer software documentation or contact your campus IT support for additional information.

Host environment set to TSO.
Transfer program set to IND$FILE.
Transfer options selected to include ASCII, CRLF.
The host file name enclosed in single quotes.
The PC file name with a .TXT file extension.

If you are using Attachmate emulation software (e.g., EXTRA) you may also need to apply the following file transfer settings:

Use the Screen Buffered transfer option.
Add the TSO receive parameter command 'NOTRUNC' under the TSO tab.
