The PY file for the current business month is generally emptied after 6:00 PM before the last working day of the calendar month, and remains empty until the first payroll cycle of the subsequent month is processed.

If you create a PY file on the last working day by selecting cycle dates for the current business month, your file may be empty.

If the current month PY file is empty, you can still access the data by selecting the PH file for the prior business month, or by creating a PY extract file for the current and prior 36 business months.
